‘Although I only recently commenced working with AusCam, I love working for AusCam for 3 main reasons. Firstly, AusCam’s commitment to supporting and preparing girls to become leaders in their own right, to define what ‘protection’ and ‘resilience’ means to them, instead of dictating to them what it should look like – is the approach that I find most ethical, effective, and sustainable long-term. Secondly, the internal ‘family’ culture and the genuine interest in supporting others that the AusCam staff displays, show that it’s in AusCams people’s DNA to be honest, dedicated, innovative and genuinely supportive. Thirdly, AusCam provides me with an outlet to contribute, while challenging me to grow along with the girls and the rest of the staff.’
